During a virtual mini-plenary sitting, South Africa’s Agriculture Minister Thoko Didiza tabled the department’s re-adjusted Budget Vote, allocating an amount of R14.4 billion for the financial year 2020-21.
Notably, the R14.4 billion is R2.4 billion less from the initial allocation announced by the country’s Finance Minister in February 2020 before the COVID-19 outbreak.
