These are the 6 new first-choice varieties added to 2021 Forage Maize Descriptive Lists

6 new first-choice varieties have been included in the British Society of Plant Breeders’ 2021 Forage Maize Descriptive Lists.

The varieties that have been added are:

• Resolute, Conclusion and Trooper from Limagrain

• Farmunox from DSV

• Ability from DLF

• KWS Artikus from KWS

The 2021 Descriptive Lists (DL) provide several varieties for growers to select from. DL also includes a few parameters like dry matter yield, starch in relation to favourable or less favourable growing conditions to facilitate informed decision-making.
