Morocco’s Agriculture Ministry announced to set up a crop rotation program on an area of over 5 million hectares for its 2020-2021 agricultural campaign, taking into consideration the situation of water resources as well as the evolution of climatic conditions.

The ploughing project will give priority to cereal seeds, food legumes, fodder crops, sugar crops in all agricultural regions across the North African country.

For vegetable crops, the ministry will launch a program to bolster the supply chain in order to guarantee the products’ balance between supply and demand.
