Organisers of the Dairy Show have cancelled October’s event due to the recent rise in COVID-19 cases in the United Kingdom, the Royal Bath & West Society said, adding the decision to cancel this year’s event was an ‘extremely difficult decision to make’.
The event was due to take place on 7 October. But due to rising COVID-19 cases, the event will not go ahead.
“We are hugely disappointed to be taking this decision, and to have to cancel one of the key industry events in the UK is a great shame, especially when so many others have fallen by the wayside this year,” Alan Lyons, the head of shows at the society, said.
