Gadkari urges entrepreneurs to invest more in agricultural industries

Nitin Gadkari, who is the Union Minister for Micro & Small Industries recently asked the businessmen to invest more in the agricultural sector.

In a conversation with the members of the MSME Association, Gadkari, stated that now it has become very crucial to make agro-based industries in the Marathwada region.

Also, the minister also urged the entrepreneurs to pay attention to industries like khadi, sericulture, furniture, biofuels, bamboo, and solar cluster. The development of rural industries will have a good effect on urban industries, he informed. The Minister even discussed different problems of the MSME industry and shared that he is willing to sort their issues. He also asked industrialists to put their money in the stock markets of the nation rather than backing on banks for capital.

According to him, the emphasis should be on innovation in industries.

Post the interaction, the Minister assessed the work of various road projects in the region with authorities of the National Highways and shared that the development of roads would certainly provide a boost to industry and tourism in the state.

Former state Assembly Speaker Haribhau Bagde, former minister Sambhaji Patil- Nilangkar, MLA Atul Save, Union Industries secretary Ram Manohar Mishra, Divisional commissioner Sunil Kendrekar, D L Rajale, president of Marathwada Small Industries & Agriculture Organisation, and entrepreneurs Ram Bhogale, Rishikumar Mughal, H D Kapase and Mansingh Pawar, among other entrepreneurs and officials of the concerned department also marked their presence at the event.
