Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa plans to develop agri-based economy to attract youth

Revealing his development vision, Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa announced to establish an agriculture-based economy thereby attracting youth to farming instead of leaving it.

Mr Rajapaksa asserted that his policy is to develop an agricultural economy with the potential to produce a high standard harvest using minimum land and cutting-edge technology at a low cost.

President made these remarks while on an election campaign tour in Monaragala district.
