Gloucestershire-based Royal Agriculture University has partnered with the China-based Qingdao Agricultural University (QAU) to help expand transnational higher education in the land-based sector.

The development comes as the ongoing crisis heightens both the United Kingdom and China’s awareness of global food security, supply chains and the interdependence of agribusiness.

Called ‘The RAU Joint Institute for Advanced Agritechnology at QAU’, the collaboration will see double-award degrees offered across four BSc (Hons) courses.
