ADQ sets up new company ‘Silal’ to support UAE’s food, agriculture sector
Abu Dhabi’s ADQ holding company has set up a new company called Silal to diversify food sources and secure supply chain for essential food.
This entity will complement the government’s efforts to boost the supply and distribution of food in the emirate.
Meanwhile, Jamal Salem Al Dhaheri will be the CEO of the new company.
“Silal also complements ADQ’s existing investments in the food and agriculture sector as we seek to expand this important economic cluster,” the Chief Investment Officer at ADQ, Khalifa Sultan Al Suwaidi, said.
