India: Dairy tech startup Country Delight raises $25 million in Series C round

Bengaluru-based direct-to home-consumer brand Country Delight has announced to raise $25 million Series C funding led by Elevation Capital. The round witnessed participation from existing investors, including Orios Venture Partners and Matrix Partners India.
The new round of funding will be used to develop a range of food essentials such as cold-pressed edible oils, fruits and vegetables and other essentials.
“Direct customer connect gives us a strong feedback loop and helps us iterate towards near-perfect products,” said Chakradhar Gade, Co-founder, Country Delight, adding technology plays a very big role in building quality traceability and supply chain at scale.
Set up by IIM-Indore alumni Chakradhar Gade and Nitin Kaushal, Country Delight offers products in the affordable-premium segment. Currently, the startup serves approximately 1.5 lakh households across key cities in India.
