The Arab Africa Trade Bridges (AATB) Program led by the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC) joined hands with OCP Africa for supporting OCP Africa’s Agribooster Program to benefit rice farmers and enhance agri-value chains within Côte d’Ivoire.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Mohamed Anouar Jamali, OCP Africa’s CEO and Eng. Hani Salem Sonbol, CEO, ITFC, in Rabat, Morocco.

The program will benefit nearly 20,000 farmers, serving as an end-to-end value chain solution. It will bring together all the conditions necessary for improving rice productivity and marginal farmers’ revenues.

The program is also set to safeguard the health of the country’s farmers in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic through the provision of personal protective equipment (PPE).
