According to the weather service Copernicus, the last month was the warmest September “on record” worldwide.

European scientists said Earth’s surface was warmer last month than during any September on record, adding the findings of the new research are an explicit reminder of climate change globally, which has resulted in horrific wildfires burning large parts of the US states of Oregon and California.

The European Union’s Earth observation programme stated warmth in the Siberian Arctic continues way “above average.”
