UN chief António Guterres outlines the path to recovery from COVID-19 for Southeast Asia
Tackling inequality, greening the economy, upholding human rights, bridging the digital divide, and good governance would be critical for Southeast Asia to recover from the COVID-19 outbreak, the UN Secretary-General said.

“The pandemic has highlighted deep inequalities, shortfalls in governance and the imperative for a sustainable development pathway. And it has revealed new challenges, including to peace and security”, the Secretary-General said.
