Nestle to invest CHF 53 million to boost sustainable agriculture in China

To promote sustainable agriculture and development of local grain cultivation in China, Nestle has announced to invest a further RMB 400 million (CHF 53 million) in the country.

The multinational food and drink processing conglomerate corporation will also complete the expansion and upgrade of the Nestlé Dairy Farming Institute (DFI), strengthening its role in dairy farming training as well as a sustainable source of high-quality local milk.

The DFI will also play an important role in the company’s drive to lower GHG emissions in its supply chain.
