Maas Companies Inc of Rochester, Minnesota is conducting the auction. Maas Companies works nationwide with renewable energy companies, government agencies, banks/lenders, private/public corporations and has sold extensive assets in the renewable energy sector.

The Big River Prairie Gold, LLC facility was a partnership between Big River Resources, LLC and Prairie Gold, Inc. to produce corn zein proteins. The partners have now completed their full-scale production testing at the plant. The building is being repurposed and all equipment is now surplus. The equipment is being sold to be taken off site as the real estate is not part of this sale.
