Walmart, Flipkart invest $30 million in Bengaluru-based fresh produce supply startup Ninjacart

At a time when the Indian e-grocery market has seen huge traction, the US-based retail giant Walmart and Flipkart Group have decided to make an additional investment in Bengaluru-based fresh produce supply startup Ninjacart.
According to sources, both the companies have invested around $30 million in Ninjacart. Last year too, they funded the fresh produce supply start-up.
The latest investment will ensure access to good quality fresh produce for consumers and retailers, the statement read.
