India: Prasar Bharati, IFFCO sign MoU to promote new agri-technology and innovations

To promote new agri-technology and innovations, Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) signed an MoU with the public broadcaster Prasar Bharati in an effort to achieve the objective of making farmers self-reliant.

To fulfil the aim, it is indispensable to explain about implementation of new farm techniques to farmers in easy language.

“Through this medium, the information will be shared with the farmers in an easy language. These programmes will also be broadcast through digital medium,” Prasar Bharati CEO Shashi Shekhar Vempati said.
