India: FMCG major Marico forays into Ayurvedic segment with immunity-boosting products

India’s leading FMCG company Marico Limited has announced its entry into Ayurvedic products through its popular brand ‘Saffola’ as people have been turning to immunity-boosting products amid COVID-19.

The company has launched a few products, including Saffola Kadha Mix and Saffola Golden Turmeric Milk Mix.

“There has been a marked change in consumption habits with consumers looking for preventive solutions in the healthy and immunity-boosting space. The new range of Saffola ImmuniVeda ayurvedic products are contemporary format innovations which make these traditional recipes more enjoyable to all family members while boosting immunity from within,” said the company in a statement.

The new range is being made available across modern trade outlets, the company’s stores and e-commerce platforms.
