India: Agritech startup BigHaat raises $2.2 million to strengthen data, tech platforms

Bengaluru-based agri-input startup BigHaat has raised $2.2 million in pre-series A funding round led by Japanese investor Beyond Next Ventures and Rockstud Capital.

“The company will deploy the capital to strengthen its data and technology platform, hire best talent, and bolster its supply chain to fuel aggressive growth,” said Sateesh Nukala, CEO, BigHaat.

Founded in 2015, BigHaat is an agri-inputs ecommerce player. Its mission is to empower farmers and digitise the agriculture inputs ecosystem.
