In a shocking development, China said a sample of frozen chicken wings imported into Shenzhen from Brazil had tested positive for Coronavirus.

As per the latest inputs, the chicken wings had come from a plant in Santa Catarina state of Brazil.

The discovery was part of routine screenings of meat as well as seafood imports that have been carried out since June 2020.

As a result, Shenzhen’s health authorities traced as well as tested everyone who might have come into contact with potentially contaminated food products. All the results were negative, sources revealed.
