<p>Amazon&#8217;s new policy went into effect September 3, The Wall Street Journal reported.</p>
<p>&#8220;Moving forward, we are only permitting the sale of seeds by sellers who are based in the US,&#8221; the e-commerce giant said in a statement Saturday.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, the U.S. Department of Agriculture is investigating the mysterious seed packages along with online retailers.</p>
