As per the research compiled by the trademark law firm EMW, trademarks registered for vegan food as well as drink products have increased in the United Kingdom in recent months.

The report added that supermarkets have continued to report strong sales of plant-based products during the pandemic, with veganism thought to have been on the rise in recent months.

Earlier, the Vegan Society found that flexitarianism was on the rise as about 20 per cent of Britons reduced their meat intake in the Coronavirus-induced lockdown.
