The Agri-MSME Challenge Fund; sponsored by The United Nations Capital Development Fund(UNCDF) now open for partners in agritech, fintech, supply chain financing, and mobile money providers to develop and expand innovative agriculture in Micro, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises(Agri-MSME) in Papua-New Guinea(PNG).
Through this Agri-MSME Challenge Fund, service providers will be supported in deploying innovative solutions that will help Agri-MSMEs in PNG to grow their businesses by addressing the challenges of access to market, financial services, efficient systems, information, and skills.
The challenge fund is sponsored by the UNCDF in partnership with the Bank of PNG SME Accelerator program and the European Union aiming to support adding value to three value chains; Cocoa, Vanilla, and Fisheries in rural areas to access to finance, knowledge, information, and markets.
The deadline for applications is 25th October 2021,5 most promising innovators will be able to test and scale their solutions and this will provide a platform for Agri-MSMEs, service providers, and innovators to collaborate to improve efficiencies and market synergies.
